What a pain!

Currently I'm looking for rotors for a 8 lug 3/4T 10 bolt front axle. The on line parts houses want to go by year, model, and VIN letter.

There has to be a better way for me to figure out which correct stock vehicle to use so I can find the parts I need than ask here every time.

How do you do this type of cross referencing?

Just lie to the computer. The rotors should all be the same from a 3/4 ton for any year solid axle with any vin code. It should not matter if it is a 70's D44 or 80's 10 bolt. My 10 bolt has rotors from a 70's D44 on it.

Here are the numbers from Autozone.

Hub & rotor: 55005
Rotor only: 5523

Chekcer numbers:

Rotor only: 5014RGS
Hub & rotor: 56287RGS

There are other options on the Checker website for more expensive rotors also.

Napa:

Rotor only: TS
4885677

Hub & rotor: UP
86286

There are more options on Napa's too.

you could have just asked me what the axle came out of it came from a 90' burb.... but like hossbaby50 said any 3/4ton stuff will fit that axle....

Here's a search I did on one site. Granted, half are left side, half are right, then there is Cryo or Premium but if you just look for 3/4T premium there are about 3 or 4 choices for each side! Makes a difference in price as well
