Payments on a used car?

pickings are way slim around here. this is by far the best one I've seen. Do i have to be a member to post pics?

I believe so...but if you are going to own a K5 it's more than worth it...you will get information here you will never, never get out of a Chilton's manual...

If my parents agree to co-sign and i check it out and it looks good this will most likely be the one for me.

Got some bad Bondo work on the passenger door...can't tell about the fender and quarter...pics 46 and 47

I don't know much about drive trains, but the front shaft looks awfully wet to me...may have some kind of leak from transmission or T-case..

How much for this truck?
It is a clean truck underneath, it is a 90 or 91, striped down model, worn out interior, 230K miles. Bent bumpers, cracked dash, ripped seats...
The paint job is not the best and judging from the inside, it was done to hide something bad.
I wouldn't even buy it if I were you, but for $1500 it's a good buy, anything more and it's a bad deal.

Tailgate looks like old paint...tailpan has shiny new paint on it...

Haha you guys have great eyes I need to learn how to look at trucks. I won't pick it up and I know when I see one I want I'll be posting pics of it! And he wants 4000. All the blazers around here are over priced and there are so few of them I have a feeling I'll be looking for awhile.

And there is nothing wrong with that, wait for the right one, when it's right it will work out smoothly believe me.

I bet one will eventually show up. I'll be posting pics of it for sure on here so you guys can look at it! I don't understand why they are so hard to find around my area

A k5 blazer year isn't important just a good starting one for a beginner in mechanics not sure if you got pm

CK5 is the best place to start looking...there may be some for sale right now...and I remember when I was looking I did these "Tempest" searches on craig's list...and also you can search newspaper ads online now...

imiceman44 is right...take your time...don't let the K5 fever cause you to make a bad decision...kind of like...don't go down the cookie aisle or the grocery store when you are hungry...

they will show up randomly...you will see one than maybe none for a week or two then maybe two or three....

also, see if you have a local 4x4 club or Blazer club...if they have a internet forum visit it...they may know of one...

Someone isn't looking hard enough. I found quite a few around your area on craigslist, I'd say within a few hours of you, including some parts of TX. Are you searching for a Blazer|Jimmy ?

Guys, remember that K5trs is only 16 years old, he cannot get a loan from a bank - period. You must be 18 to sign a loan.

K5trs, you HAVE to save up your cash and buy it outright with a cashiers check.

Yes sir jessie, I could co sign but meh. Fourwheelerjeff has a pretty good looking one he wants to sell and I'm interested in. Ill save up.

If you have to get a loan for a car then you can't afford it. It is a car, pay cash or don't buy it. Mode of transportation should not incur interest to own.

Especially not a 20 year old Blazer or Suburban or Pickup. That are money pits all by themselves.
