So after watching Transformers this weekend with my kids I spotted a really nice mid 80s chevy truck in traffic. So I fallowed him till he pulled in somewhere to ask him for help with my situation. I explained everything and promply told me hes not really good with electronics but reffered me to a couple "good" mechanics locally. So I called one and he didnt have a lot of time and told me he'd call me tomarrow but after explainiing what I didnt and what Ive tested he said the starter might be stuck. He also started to tell me how to fix it but had to get off the phone due to customers. Does this sound like anything anyones run across before? He wasnt a jerk or anything and seemed genuinley concerned about my truck and never once said bring it in. At this point Ill try anything to hear it fire up again.

Oh and dont take your kids to see Transformers 2! Not that its a bad movie but the pg-13 rating is B.S! Theres damn near a money shot in a racey dorm room scene and tons of cussing! I cuss all the time but this was crazy!

ok, so I finally found it! it was off the two post terminal on the firewall next to the brake master cylinder. When we tested it, it was fine cus it has a metal connector that connects to both terminals behind all the other wire that run to the post. so we couldnt see it and the metal connector cunducted just fine. As I was sitting in the engine bay I was fallowing all the wires as they dissappeered behind and under stuff with my hands and one of them was really soft like there was no wire in it. Cut it and reconnected it and it started right up!!!! :D
