Pm sentI have a few geetars myself... My Brides camera is dying, so if you want to see them look up my album "rays stuff".
Can someone school me on uploading pics from my smartphone?
Chevys have a big butt that drags anyway
So if the carrier is up high enough to not drag on a decent, that's good.
Personally, I like the weight more inboard, over the center of gravity.
That obviously creates its own space issues
I'm really debating a swing out rear tire carrier from RLC. On one hand, it frees up a lot of space on the inside, and of course looks pretty cool. However, to always have to swing it out every time I lower the tailgate, or even roll down the rear window, and being in the way every time I take the top off, it sorta makes me think.
Any advice from you guys?

Barn doors rock.
Ok, I guess I don't have any useful advice.

Best to consider a few thingsYeah, I just don't know how big the space deal would be. I have a 31 inch spare still, I need to put a 35 inch on it. That might change things a bit.
Why would you hafta swing the tire out to lower the window?![]()
Best to consider a few things
Where you wheel most of the time, is it going to be compromised often?
If you don't use a swing out, where would you put it?
I have a manual crank, it would be right over the top of it.

Would it have to be? Is there no way to either slip your hand behind it or position it far enough off to one side?![]()
