I’ll pay CK5 for the rest of my life before I pay photosuckit anything. Finally was able to get all my pics downloaded tonight. Last few times I tried I couldn’t get past all the pop ups and then all of a sudden it worked without any issues... Maybe I’m wrong but that seems a little fishy after reading the email about the lowered price gouging. The timing makes me wonder. Was going to delete my account but I’ll just leave it. They’ll probably never even notice or be bothered by my unpaid account but it makes me feel like I’m returning the shaft.

The real question is if they've improved the site any with respect to ads. A cheap subscription is still useless if the site freezes or throws so many ads at me I can't do anything.

For me, if there's extra money to be spent for storage and / or hosting, it'll be spent here.
 
Supposedly the site has been redone to improve performance. I deleted my account so it’s too late for me....even then I don’t think I would pay them a dollar.
 
I'm sure they saw a considerable drop in revenue over their bull crap. I never did anything with my account, just left it alone...funny how the pics on my build threads are starting to come back (so far not all of them...only some are showing up)
 
I deleted my account. They made it such a pain to download my images I didn’t trust them to behave in the future. I was even already paying the $29.99/year.

My account should still be intact but I can't remember my password. I've jumped through the forgotten pw hoop but still haven't received the change email, imagine that. :surepal:

Download the google chrome extension for PB bulk downloads. It’s $1.99 but seems to be working like a champ! My MAW folder has almost 3000 images and it seems to be doing fine with that

i never deleted mine.. but i backed everything up... i had gone to that "Pro" version a few yrs back and paid the $25 or whatever.... i think my stuff is still there... the one thing they did delete at one point where any vid clips i had on there.. those never came back... f*ck them, i'll host on youtube and here if i need to... give Steve money instead........
 
PB got rid of the bulk download button to make it impossible for people to easily grab their photos and quit. You can DL one photo at a time but guys like me would never do it that way....

I’ll have all my photos backed-up locally but I will still have 3000 broken photo links to fix in the MAW thread. I’m sure Steve @CK5 will help me figure out a way to resolve that when the time comes. :)

yeah, i did em one at a time...... but yeah, I'm not going back and rehosting, and worse, fixing the broken links in both my builds if they delete em....
 
This is one of the reasons I've always done my own hosting, or recently hosted here. Just never trusted 3rd party hosting. They gotta make money somehow

Just deleted my account. Apparently I emptied it some time ago...thankfully.
