dolphin makes the best fish tacos and are a blast when they turn on. we have to find floating grass beds here to catch them. how do yall find em? look for the birds?
yep, gotta take your hero pics in the sun while theyre still wigglingpretty much the same.
guy up top has binoculars and spends the day in the sun looking for kelp patties.
out in the middle of nowhere, the kelp patties are the only source of shade and food near the surface... so they can be active with yellowtail and DoDos when the surrounding areas are really quiet.
only a couple were really decent size, but there were quite a few of them this time. lots of fun watching them jump out of the water. and those colors are insane when they hit the deck (and crazy how fast they fade!)

Nice buck!California A zone....
A small buck and a pretty decent forked horn.

Well I am looking forward to some fall picsSo excited for this fall!!! Those of you that hunt out west know what a pain it is to draw tags sometimes. My wife drew a late season limited entry rifle bull elk tag for a pretty good unit by us. It can normally take 15-20 points/yrs to get one and she got it at only 5 points. Really ood chance to shoot a big bull elk. Also we both drew deer tags for the same unit which are hard to get too.

I’ve got a cow elk archery hunt coming up in 2 weeks… it’s really hot and I’m hoping I can find them but not holding my breath haha.So excited for this fall!!! Yeah that's going to be tough in the heat. Guy I work with starts archery hunting in a week or so up here. He's spotted some nice bulls on his trail cams for us already. New law in Utah makes you pull trail cams 2 weeks before the hunts start now.I’ve got a cow elk archery hunt coming up in 2 weeks… it’s really hot and I’m hoping I can find them but not holding my breath haha.
They changed the law here in 2018. No cameras July through December on public lands….Yeah that's going to be tough in the heat. Guy I work with starts archery hunting in a week or so up here.
