For sale: 1979 Chevy Blazer / GMC Jimmy. I bought this because I needed to cut the top and bed rails off it for another project so what is left is the rolling chassis with full drive train. I bought it about a month ago, drove it home from Gilbert and just tucked it away in the yard for the last month or so. I took a better look at it today after cutting the top parts I needed off off, and the motor has a factory GM aluminum intake, quadrajet that looks to be a reman, though it did have a pretty good bog if you layed into it. Looks like the truck may have been the guys driver as it has new power steering lines, battery cables, newer plugs & wires etc. It is an A/C truck but doesn't have a compressor, though the condensor, accumulator/drier are still there. It has a single 3" exhaust with a nice sounding flowmaster, the sheet metal is pretty straight including the hood, it has a billet grill and chrome front and rear bumpers that in pretty good shape. Windshield is good, don't see any cracks, the dash is worse having multiple cracks, but there is a newer three guage cluster under the dash. It has the factory 6 lug ralleys, decent shape wide chrome beauty rings, and 31" BFG Mud Terrains. Two tires are pretty much spent, the other two have about 50% tread. I had to rob a battery out of one of my other trucks to drive it home, and it needed to be jump started last time I moved it, so I think the alternator is bad. The radiator, hoses, etc looked good, didn't see any leaks. I don't have a title to the truck as I just bought it for the top which I got cut off today. The guy I got it from was moving to Vegas and was asking $1000, but I made a deal with him the night before he left, he said he'd look for a title, but I've called him about a half dozen times and he hasn't come through with one. After looking it over this morning, I think I'd like to get $750 out of it. The truck will drive up on your trailer on its own power no problem.
Oh yeah, I do have doors for it, just took them off to cut the top off.
