pic request! flares!

Whats up with your front tire

Heh, second person to ask...just something weird with the sidewall. They're cheap tires, they'll be off by the spring, so I'm not too worried about it. It's not a bulge or anything, honestly don't know exactly what's up with it.

They were on my 1st K5 when I bought it many moons ago (this is my third)
I am good at recycling. They have been broken soooooo many times I just keep repairing them with fiberglass.

They look like street flares

Exact same thing has happened to one of my Cooper Discoverer tires, too. And they're U.S. made, supposedly high-end tires. Dunno what the hell it is either. Mine's worn down pretty good and ripe for changing soon anyway, but it would still be interesting to hear some kinda explanation.

I saw a guy runnin a 4"lift and cutouts rollin on 37"s. Not sure what rim/tire combo, but it looked pretty good. Cutouts are gonna be one of future mods with 36"s i think. Cutouts just look so good on these old trucks

When those come off the truck, I might pop the bead and take a look at the inside of the tire and see if anything is visibly apparent.

it is from where the side wall is bonded together during construction. happens alot. not a big deal... wont cause any damage.
