Re: Pics from today wheeling and slight fender carnage

/forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif You don't find the 5.13's a little deep for 37's?

Re: Pics from today wheeling and slight fender carnage

Those are some sweet pics! Nice flex! Imagine what you could do with the swaybar disconnected. Time be break out the old sawzaw!

So, I have a 1990 that I want to be just like yours. You have a 4" lift springs in the front with 37's? Also, is your axle flip rear with just the 4" ORD flip or do you have lift springs plus the flip?

Re: Pics from today wheeling and slight fender carnage

Man I love your truck Branndon! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif 89's are my favorite year. I wan't an 89-91 just like yours except with a turbo'd 6.2. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Re: Pics from today wheeling and slight fender carnage

i'd prefer to swap a 454 or 502 with a whipple of smog wasn't an issue

Re: Pics from today wheeling and slight fender carnage

Wow, that looks like alot of fun. If I would stop getting it up the @ss by my insurance company, maybe I could afford some bigger tires.

Re: Pics from today wheeling and slight fender carnage

Hey Brandon,

The 5.13's and 37's are a real kick in the arse aren't they?

Re: Pics from today wheeling and slight fender carnage

4lo and 2nd gear up the hills pratically idles up! and down you almost dont need brakes. i love it, i want lower now /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Re: Pics from today wheeling and slight fender carnage

would you have gone that low if you didn't have OD?

Well first I guess is it your DD?

Re: Pics from today wheeling and slight fender carnage

yes its my DD and no way i'd do it with out OD if i wanted to drive freeways at all, i'd say like 50 is max with out OD maybe, i never tested it

Re: Pics from today wheeling and slight fender carnage

Brandon,

How far off is your speedo? mine is about 10mph.

Re: Pics from today wheeling and slight fender carnage

it says 55 when i'm doin 35, so 20 there, but i havent tested it in the higher speeds, now that i have my GPS i can really tell, but when i say 80, its becuase my fiance is following me and she calls me and gives me my speed periodicaly

Re: Pics from today wheeling and slight fender carnage

Looks like fun Branndon! Yer definatly having more fun with you're new setup. That's pretty darn good with the swaybar still hooked up... I forsee some ORD quick disconnects in your near future! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Bah.. you don't need no stinkin swaybar! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

With my 4.56's and 38's and no OD i'm spinning 3,000 or higher on the freeway. I'm glad i didn't go lower... Especially since i'm going back down to 35" BFGs for street use after seeing my TSL's wear over the last few thousand miles, they will be my offroad only tires. /forums/images/graemlins/pimp1.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif
