i agree with reeser about having to much lift and too little tire. i run 39.5s on 5" of lift. My rig will never have 8" of lift, I just dont need it. That said, the crybaby-run-to-POR action was pretty ghey! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

umm ok..im just reading all this now and wow did this thread take a turn! everything was cool it looks like untill reeser went a little nutso on my question of what everyone thought. ok reeser just to let you know i was simply asking..i never said i was defenatly going to do it. my plans were for 3/4tons and 36's or bigger to go with the 8" but since i wont have the funds for all that at once ill probobly leave it at 5" untill then..and why this big you might ask..well i dunno..i just like big trucks..maybe its cause im still young..but i think tall trucks are cool! but i think you went a little out of line giving your opinion..i wont say anymore than that /forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif and whats this about posting about this extremely dumb question of mine over on pirate!!?? comon now..!!?? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

I think your truck LOOKS GOOD and I like the 14wides (because you have a wide enough tire) /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

As far as 8" and 33's I woulent do it but if you like it go ahead but you might wanna just do the suspension lift first because the 5in and 33's wont look bad IMO then when you get you running gear and tires put the body lift in there

I have 6+3 with 35" boggers and I think it looks great. Your getting into the funky looking zone especially if you run a non agressive tire, it might look ok with boggers or tsl's or something though. A guy around here is running 10" front and 4" back with the metric BFG MT's that are like 31x14.50 or so. I think it is the goofiest K5 i've ever seen. Here is a pic of mine with 9" and 35's.

What if I put stock sized tires on my truck and left my lift on it.

Would you drag me through the coals.

I've seen 42's and a 2" lift. And I've seen trucks with 20"+ of lift. So it all depends on your taste.

I haven't seen a truck on this site that I wouldn't wheel the pee out of. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif Nice truck.
