I've dug around and can't find many pictures of what people are doing for their bumpers. I love the stock look but also need winch mounting capabilities.

I've dug around looking for bumpers too, specifically the pre-runner style stinger bumpers. I've found some awesome bumper builds on individual's threads, but I was surprised there wasn't a "Show off your bumper" thread.

Again, the stuff that people on this site are building will put any manfuctured product to shame. There is a lot of talent on this site.

I'm planning to use this $75 Warn winch bumper as a basis for a stinger bumper build.

tested out the strength of mine last weekend fast foward to about 7:15

that winch cable was wrapped around the tube of the bumper with a almost 90 drgree winch pull

i have a warn i picked up for 40 bucks.. like pictured above by c and d crew cab, mine is all braced up and made to fit with a 3inch bodylift, painted in rustoleum hammerhead black... heres 2 pics

If your build account can stand it, Buckstop.biz, look good but pricey.

uggh. those boat anchors are REDICULOUSLY expensive. way over priced, in my opinion. they look ok, and look well built, but they're too damn big and not worth the money. blazenoffroad has a fully enclosed rear winch bumper with a tire carrier and hitch for WAY less than those bumpers (meaning a more versatile bumper with more features costs less thru them).

Kert can build you anything you want for a fraction if the price of buckstop! They look good but what kert builds is even better IMO.

that's exactly the problem with road armor - they bolt right into stock mounting points...

Ummmm, if i wanted my stock bumper i wouldn't pay almost or over a grand for something to weight the front of my truck down...!

here are some that i have built. front is a 6" c-channel that has been cut and welded, has KC daylighters and the diamond plate is 1/4 and has stainless screws and i believe d-rings from poison spyder customs

my rear is 2"x4"x3/16" steel, again d-rings from psc. it has side mounts the go to frame and is raised into the bed
