Juan (juanblzer) came by today and helped me pull my cage off so I could finish it. His K5 looks great with the latest mods! Here are the pics I took. The front of his truck is very similar to what I plan to do with mine after the cage is done, and, after seeing his dash, I'll probably steel some ideas there. Anyway, he just had the front chop, new dash, and shock upgrade done (Randy Ellis) and has not posted any pics yet, so I thought I would do it for him. Enjoy!
 
Man thats exactly what I wanted to do to the front---take off the fenders and tube it and cut the hood like that---the truck looks awesome (the tires do look a little small though /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif )----thanks for the pics baddog

Its hard not to break a sweat just looking at those pics. Everywhere you look theres an interesting mod and and obviously a lot of time... and money! Great pics.
 
you guys are way too nice! I appreciate all the feedback. I don't have access to the internet as often as I would like but I'll try to get on as much as I can. Those shocks are awesome. I went fireroading yesterday in Mayer and man they eat up bumps that would of made my rs9000s gag. I'm happy but the tires now seem suddenly small. 38s? 42s? Maybe when I have enough for new gears and a doubler.He He.

night and day performance compared to rs9000s. High speed is crazily smooth. THey are about 235 each. The only next step is coilovers and a link suspension. But first, flexier springs.
 
Nice man, real nice. I like your super clean/uncluttered dash /forums/images/icons/grin.gif .... you know your lucky, the local fuzz has figured that the only ticket that they can write me is a fender citation.
