Pics of my Dana 60 14BFF Install

I really hope I can make my allison last a bit longer. Those suncoasts sure are not cheap.

I know, I feel like my azz cheek came out with my wallet and its on the counter at Suncoast. That money was for a 3.3L whipple setup on the Burb. It is gonnna be awhile before phase 2.

Brother, this was totally unplanned and unexpected. I knew I was on borrowed time but you always hope. :D. If my trip works out right, I am going east TN on my way back home to a family friend that has a Michelin commercial distributorship and put some new shoes on her. The cost of the 19.5 tires has almost doubled in 5 years. Since I've got the plastic out, I might as well keep it hot.

After re-reading it, I would have to agree. It did not come off as intended. I meant that in a more light hearted way, but alas, trying to express a type of mood or feeling doesn't always come off right with something typed out.

I have edited my original post, and didn't mean for it to go that way at all. :thumb:

You da man!!! :waytogo:

whatever dude... I'm not gonna hijack a great build thread cuz you've gotten a hard-on for Cummins in recent yrs... I stand by my statements...

and as a ex mod you should know not to high jack a good clean thread if you ask me. :whistle:

if you reread his thread he didnt buy the 572 new he got it used and redid a few things to it and the deal was right for the build he was doin at the time.

We appreciate your input about the undeniable awesomeness of cummins engines. This isnt a thread about cummins engines, so lets stop talking about them here. This is about ONE dudes awesome burb build. Lets try and keep it that way.

Can a Mod please take this guys videos of Dodge truck (that is not his) drag racing videos out of my build thread. This website is about K5's and Burbs. If this guy has a build thread of a cummins in a vehicle that this website is about that he owns or built, please post your own thread about it. I would love to read it.

Yeah, What he said.....

I love this burb, and seriously think about it all the time. My burb is getting jealous, it feels like I'm cheating on it with this 572 monster.

I just went back to watch your video clips for the first time today.

(I wanted to save them for my computer with good sound.)

Wow! That sounds nasty! :thumb::thumb:

I'd just like to say that this entire thread has been really inspiring to me (except for the random diesel stuff). I mean here we have a guy that's worked hard his entire life and is using his own money that he earned and his own ingenuity to build an awesome truck that any of us would be more than proud to own. I could picture it being on a magazine cover. Even when he and his wife both had terrible health problems that would have sidelined me for good probably, he just kept plugging away and doing what he loves. He didn't get discouraged and I don't remember reading any complaints in this thread. In fact, I doubt he complained in real life either, because he's probably not that kind of guy. I wish I could be more like that.

I salute you sir! :waytogo::bow: You deserve everything you have and I can't wait to see what you come up with next. Keep us updated.

I've put almost 1100 miles on it. I drove to Alabama 3 weeks ago, did some mild wheeling and then drove home. That one trip was about 435 miles. I left at 5am sat morning and got home around midnight that evening. We had a fukking ball!! We raced everbody that would run us whether it was on the interstate or stop light. I did find a problem, when you get off camber or steep grades up or down 4wheeling. It starts losing fuel pressure if it is lower than 1/2 a tank. Especially idleling. So, I have MEGA changes getting ready to go in on the fuel system. The mechanical pump I have just can't pull a full #10 line up out of the tank and over 20 feet when the tank gets tilted. That's getting solved. I am also setting all the system up for over a 1000hp with a return now. I think I am either going to put nitrous on it or a whipple. This thing is addictive! :D
