Pics of my Dana 60 14BFF Install

Your Suburban is right up my alley! 99% of the K5 Blazers, Suburbans, and Pickups are beat up and ready to be scrapped.. I just told a buddy of mine the other day who recently picked up a 88' Suburban that in a few years watch what happens to the value of the 73-91 era GM Pickup, SUV line. Just like the throw away VW buses that you can no longer touch for less than a pretty penny, the same thing will happen with these old GM trucks.. Junk now but tomorrow they will be an untouchable treasure... I'm buying up my stock now LOL!

Very nice suburban!

I hope so. I have a bunch of coin and even more sweat tied up in this thing. It would be awesome if it really did go up in value. We had a lot of fun drag racing some people late last night in it. AND we did not get beat by anything we raced. We busted two turned up diesel pick ups and a fox body mustang gt! :D

Awesome! Thats quite something with a big sub...but I`m not surprised!! :thumb:
Glad your having fun with it.

So anything new with the burb? You get the new fuel system in yet?

Gary

Hey Gary, I have not done my fuel system yet. It is just now getting warm enough to where it is effecting it. We have been driving the crap out of it.

I sold my race car trailer/rv/toy hauler and bought a Toterhome in November of last year so that my wife and I can travel some. With the new setup, if she has a bad day or days, she has the same comforts as home and we don't have to go back home. (It is really nice for my back too)

Anyway, we had the new toy fever and traveled some during the winter down South just doing the old person RV thing. (Which was actually a nice change of pace that I hate to admit) Everywhere that we went, all the neighbors were retired. I was the only one still working. But, we met a TON of super nice people.

This past weekend, I took a group of my clients (15 of them) to the mountains in East Tn to ride quads. (they don't have big 4x4's). I wanted to take the burb to do some wheeling but between the heat and the fact that it is extremely steep on ALL of the trails, I couldnt take it because I have not converted the fuel system to the new electric setup. We had a great trip, I will post some pics shortly....but it gave me the motivation to start the burb fuel system this coming weekend. I took the H2 along with my Rhino so that the wife could go to town if she wanted too while all of the guys were wheeling on the Mountain.

Thanks for checking in man! We know your a busy fella, but just like to know how you are doing from time to time! :waytogo:

And it is very much appreciated Brother! I know this sounds gay but I really think of you guys as a family that I have never met face to face. Here are a few pics of the new rig with the Rhino and H2 in tow. It WILL HAVE THE BURB ON THE TRAILER FOR THE NEXT TRIP! :D

I wasn't in the photo of the riders, I was taking the pic.

Here are a few more pics. I didn't take any more pictures after we got covered COMPLETELY in mud because I didnt want to trash my phone. (It was in a ziploc). I should have some more pics coming to me of some trail shots that some of the other guys took. A couple of them had go pro cameras. There was one trail that out of 15 machines of all brands, that only my side by side by side and 2 900 Polaris RZR's made it up. I actually had to lock the front diff to get up. It had 2 big stair steps, (even for a big truck) and it was pouring down rain....straight up and muddy as Heck. My Rhino has a +6" suspension that we set up for rock crawling and I put a 1000'cc built Rotax vtwin and Can Am transmission in it. I did all of this 2 years before Can Am actually built a side by side. The combo still works awesome. It is a good mix of being able to rock crawl, haul azz and be dependable.

Welcome back bro. Glad to see all is well. Your back must be getting better for you to be able to ride again. Good to hear. Hope your wife is on the way to recovery too.

I saw some of those four seater 900 RZRs at the store the other day. Those are some cool machines for sure. Makes me want to try one out.

Safe to say we all have the same kind of feeling! Trip looks like fun and your RV setup is full blown pimp!

Actually I can't hardly get around this week. I was hurting so bad Sunday morning that I could barely drive home. BUT, it was worth the pain. :D They don't know the trails and my customers are the reason that I am able to have cool toys, so I take care of them no matter how I feel. No clients = no job = no money or insurance= disability income only = depression = bullet in head! :D

Well ya aint dead yet! So goo job for still getting out there. I have come to find out that there is nothing wrong with the slowed down pace of some retired people. THey have had a life time to figure out that what they want to do is just hang out and relax.

Agreed. I actually listened way more than I talked (for once). The older I get, the wiser our elders seem to become to me. When I was younger, I thought I had it all figured out. I didn't even know what I didn't know.:waytogo:
