my plan also. i'm just trying to guage how much cutting vs how much of the bumper will stick out. if i could get the entire thing tucked within the frame rails i'd be happierI'm not gonna run a body lift on mine. Its not together yet, but I plan on cutting for clearance.
Hate to dig up an old thread, can you tell me what winch that is? Im looking at the a bomb kit and wondering what my options areHere you go raymos. Hope these work for you. I love the bumper center. It is very beefy and a work of art! I have not used the winch yet. But, For the price, It was a no brainer. I do have a 2" body lift. If you don't, Be planning to do some cutting. You can also check out (nvrenuf), He has the same bumper with a different winch. His thread is here. http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=217030

go on.... what would you suggest?Smittybilt sucks too!!!! Don't get one!
wow comparing new to new its $400 and $2,000.00 i don't think they are on the same playing field lolThe opportunity is there so I have to say it.... a good condition, used Warn 8274 is still better than most of the stuff on the market today.
I think the point was more that a 20 year old 8274 is better than the new stuff. I had an 8274 back in 1996 on my first car, an FJ40.
