Well I finally bit the bullet and bcame a member so here are some pics of my Jimmy. It is an '89 that I bought bone stock with 127k miles on it with pretty much no rust and i only paid 2k for it!I have since added electric fans, 4"suspension (rough country leaves front and ORD flip rear), 1" body lift, SSbrake lines, bolt on and weld on steering box brace, greasable poyurethane bushings all around, HD front shackles, and alot of maintenance stuff. I also have a D60 front(needs new driver side spring perch) and a FF14bolt rearend, 38x13R16 TSL's on black steelies all waiting to be installed. I am also doing disc brakes in the rear, rotating the tcase and installing a SYE and ordering new driveshafts when that is all done and then a few months after that I am gonna install 5.13 gears in the axles with a detroit in the rear. And thats about it for now I think :D

looks great, love clean blazers.

is it a diesel to boot?

Thanks, I still have to finish removing the molding from the driver side, when I took the rest of it off the paint was pulling off in spots so I got pissed and quite! No its not a diesel, just your basic ol 5.7 350, maybe someday it will have a cummins in it though :cool1:

Oh yeah, pretty much all gas engines come with those up here in ND. We often see temps well below 0 here in the winter.
