Sorry I can't do the shortbed deal. I think they look unproportional.

Ya, she is only a few options short of the full monty. I have never seen a cc w/ the power mirror option, I thought it was a Blazer/Burb option only?? Were they available on the Crews? I think I like my mirrors better anyhow. Better for towing. Thinking about making some like Canman has, were you can extend the mirror out away from the truck so you can see better when towing.

The truck looks good, I was always going to take the bugshield off when I painted it. I had a different bumper on it though.

I believe you're right, I've never seen power mirrors on a truck either - only K5's and Subs. That's a great looking truck, makes me miss mine. They do have a unique / beefy look to them.

Looks great! You gonna lift it any more?

I can't lie & tell you I haven't thought about it. I bought the truck to be our family hauler/towrig, so lifting wouldn;t be practical. It will be hard to resist the temptation.

Come on! Do it! 8" & 38s!!! :D

A 6" lift and 35's probably wouldn't look to bad...

Sweet 3500 for sure, the lift isn't going to make it look any better.

Please lift it, pretty please.....I can only imagine what it would look like.

I use to think the taller the better for 4x4's, until I got here. Now I understand the trail rig mentality. But, if I had that rig I would do at least a 6" and probably think real hard about an 8" lift and tires to fit. In my mind I see that being a show truck, oh ya congrats.

Realistically after having been there and done that with a daily driver crew cab, if you lift it at all I'd suggest a modest 2.5" lift with some 32's. Even if they'd fit I wouldn't go with 33's just to be sure you wouldn't have to trim the fenders. :deal:

It has 16x8's w/ 285/75/16's now.

I will be using this rig as our primary family transportation. Also it is my tow rig for the blazer. IF I was to lift it I would most likely do as Nvrenuf suggested. I have never towed w/ a lifted truck, so I wouldn't know what to expect from that. Most likely I will buying a 24-26' goose-neck in the near future. So lifting it affects that. As of now I tow w/ a 18' carhauler that is bumper pull.

For the sake of fyi, you might ask BulldogK5 what it's like to tow with a lifted truck. He's used his crew cab to pull a tractor on a bumper pull type trailer.
