You must have stiff springs....

With that cut i did with 4in and 36s my tires would still rub inner fender at full stuff.

And my 42s still demolish my fenders and they are super cut.

I did mikes he has 6in lift and 37s.
the front fang needs to be cut and i didnt go back as far on the fender. His doesnt rub at all.

Here's mine, about 8" lift w/ 43's. When I cut the wheel openings not only did I open up the front and rear but I also went across the top. I never liked the factory "flare" around the opening so I cut it all out. I have not flexed it yet but I'm sure I'll have to trim the front of the fenders more.

How are you guys getting the trim lines so straight? Are you using a grinder or a sawzall or a plasma cutter or what?

I used tape for the straight lines and free handed the corners. I cut it all with a die grinder w/ a cutoff wheel.

A friend used a sawzall to trim his Jeep quarters and it looks aweful, the entire opening is wavy. I assume it's from the reciprocating action hammering on the single wall panel.

4.5 grinder ith cuttoff wheel for me.

Sawzall on parts of inner fender that i couldnt access easily.

I use a variety of tools including a small die grinder with a cut off, a body saw and a grinder with a cutoff wheel in it. I touch up the edges with a flap wheel to get them straight
