Is that an ‘85 or ‘86 model ?
If it’s an ‘85 model could you find the production build date - just try’n to see the time frame Ford brought back the solid axle D60 in “mid” 1985 ?

Yeah, usually the chrome grill option was only used on fancy versions like fire trucks and such - it’s a nice look’n medium-duty ride.

Yessir! It's interesting seeing all those pictures in a row. You can watch the paint really go to crap over the years.
I know what ya’ mean - I had mine in the woods off road two weeks after I had it painted. It was all downhill from there !
Also, I assume that you are “BUCKET” over on the GM SQUAREBODY site ?

I ordered a ‘02 3/4-Ton Dodge 4WD with the H.O. motor and NVG-5600 ( ETH-DEE ) back in late ‘01 with the intent of owning it until I no longer could drive - after seven lift pump failures along with five VP-44 injector pump replacements, ECM failure, two vacuum pump failures and a few other issues all before 150K I was so butt hurt that I sold it in 2010.
I wish you the best of luck with yours though - just wish mine would have turned out better…
