I recently bought a 1983 blazer with a full vert conversion done on it. it is not a bad job. it is rusty in the rockers. they are going to have to be replaced. My question is how are people bracing the body on these. It does not have rocker boxes. it is braced right now with a roll bar that angles to the floorboard. but i do not like it. it is a pain to get in the truck.I was wondering if anyone had some pictures of how they braced the cab. i was thinking of putting some square tubing under the floor. I have seen some tubing put in under the rockers but i do not want to be able to see it. I want the truck to look stock. I am putting envoy seats in it and need some support under the floor anyway to secure the seat good to the body, since the seat belts are in the seat. Here is a picture of what i have now. This has to go. don't mind the mess, truck was sitting between two grain bins for a year and some furry friends took up residence in it.

It would be easy to replicate the stock rocker boxes. If you ran square tube around where it went and welded some 12 gauge to the bottom I think that would be more than enough

The thing is i am not sure what the rocker boxes look like. I have looked around and it looks like there basically is two floor pans. but i have never seen them not sure how to reproduce something you don't know what the original looks like.

I had the 73 donor for my conversion for some time. I looked under it and determined I could make something rather than cut those boxes out. When I get back on finishing mine I'll take pics.
