Pictures of rigs with stock steel wheels and hub caps.

Bump. This thread needs more pictures. I could post some of my stuff of the stock steal wheels, but none of mine look that good.

This is probably my favorite picture of my Suburban, I just wish it was taken with a real camera.

Only thing I have with stock steel wheels is my '86 C20 Burb, well, except the dually but that doesn't count.

These are stock optional full wheel covers and they clear 14ff hubs.

I wonder if there would be a way to mount the factory hubcap to an aftermarket rim (just to cover up the center)? I too like the look of the OEM rim with pie caps, but I need 9-10" wide rims, not the factory skinny rims. I would love to get a set of TrueDesign custom rims done up in factoy dish centre with 8x6.5 bolt pattern on a 10" wide but not in my budget ($800 for set of 4 rims).

Maybe weld on some clips to the rim so that the OEM pie plate could be snapped on? Any ideas out there?

pic-1 old school gm 6 lug rims

pic 2 my take on if thay did same but 8 lug.

take aftermarket d-window rims 16x10 8 lug and blast and repaint white and use 4 rear deep drw 88-98 black plastic center caps and lug nut caps on aftermarket conversion lug nuts.

rim look a like 6 lug.jpg

Why do you need a 10" wide wheel?

Most people don't like these, but I love them.

Stole this from a members build thread.

And I think they look pretty cock. I wouldn't want a 10" rim if I was going to air down. Hell my buddy just put 16x38.5x16.5s on 9.75s and if you air them down to 10psi you can push them off.

I figured you would get a chubby over this Marty. So I snagged a pic

I only lost a bead once all weekend on my rig with stock 16.5" GM wheels and that was when we pulled it back over onto its wheels.
