Pictures of rigs with stock steel wheels and hub caps.

As much as I am a desert racer at heart, I hate bumper mounted light bars. Even though it's about the best hight for night wheeling.

I'm kinda with you there on the whole pre-runner thing but what I really needed was a place to stick my hi-lift until I built a rear bumper which I still haven't done. And yep, lights really help on those dark Mojave roads.
I used some roundy round race car ballast mounts to clamp the jack to the bar.
I don't love it or hate it but it was pretty cheap, works ok and keeps jack from rattling inside.

So, where did you get it?
oh yeah…sorry. I got it from RCD but it's for a 88 up GMT 400 truck, tahoe etc. Think they stopped making them a few yrs ago. My bumper already had holes in it so it was no big deal to punch a few more in.
I'm either taking it off or gonna cut it down to suck it in closer to the grill and tweak the bars to use the factory bumper holes.

Well,'92s no longer used hubcaps and the wheels are ford 7",but these are stock GMC hubcaps. I was going as retro as I could when I ordered my '92 K3500,even went with the traditional fleet color Woodland Green. Last fall when I got new tires I did what I'e wanted to do since about when the truck was new (but didn't because the vibe was factory). Yeah,I know, the visor is aftermarket. I only added that in '07 when the work cap went on and I figured what the heck. Had bought that visor and had it painted when the truck was new,but decided I didn't want it. Hey,it's diesel work truck through and through. At lest I didn't run a stovepipe up through the bed!!

I can't help but wonder where we would be if they continued offering solid front axles to this day.

White Steel wheels would look good even on a brand new truck...IMO

But who cares about that?

Not me. I'm not effected if the number of over optioned, over priced, too expensive to repair, soft around the edges, solid axled trucks on the market is two, or three.

You know what I mean... I mean if they still offered them to this day, we could get a mid/late 90s truck for cheap and it would already have a solid axle. Which would be fun.
