Thought so, we took a trip with the kids through there in august a few years back and we stopped at that same spot and had a snow ball fight. Thats an amazing drive!

Here's one of my K5 messing around in a parking area at the beginning of a nearby snow trail. We got about half way through the trail and my buddy broke his drag link on his jeep. We managed to get him back to the parking area so we had lunch and hung out until one of our other friends came with a trailer. Can't believe this was three years ago. Just went this last weekend to another trail in the snow but went with a buddy in his 4 runner. Had a great time and it gave me some encouragement to get my blazer back out (it's just been sitting in my backyard for awhile...). We have to go to the mountains to get to the snow where I live but all you guys that live in it I can imagine why you don't even want to think about!

We had to get a 1009 stuck one drill week end so we could have a 'recovery class." 40 minutes in four wheel drive and wee couldn't get it stuck, so we put it in two wheel drive and got it very stuck.
