Im about to weld up a shackel flip once my metal gets here so i was wondering if im gonna have to grind off my spring perches and reweld them or use a degree shim so i could get that ordered.

Right now the truck is a 82 shortbed with a 6 inch lift, block and add-a-leaf in the rear and im gonna use the stock shackle till i can dish the cash for a ord one. So i was wondering for those who have used a shackle flip with the stock shackle, how did ur pinion angle end up after u bolted it up to the spring?

On my k5 I used 6" shackles and the angle went from 0 to right at 10*. I'm sure you'll have less with the longer wheelbase and shorter shackles. You can always draw it out and get a pretty good idea where you're going to end up with a little trigonometry.
