is there a torque spec for the center pin? i also heard that when you use shims on a dana 60, your suppose to use the same size shim on top and bottom on the passenger side since theres only 1 ubolt and it puts a lot of stress on the 2 bolts with out a 2nd shim. also would it make a big differance in with the motor and everythng else on the truck?

The center pin should be a 3/8" diameter grade 8. 35 ft. lbs. if memory serves. Standard torque spec for any 3/8" grade 8 fastener.

You're correct on the passenger side. 2 shims, 1 on top and one on bottom facing opposited directions. Bottom one shims the axle, top one shims the spring plate to evenly load the head on the studs/bolts.

Without the engine and such in the truck could change things. I'd wait to finalize. Probably not gona be by much though.

thats what i was thinking:thumb: hey thanks for the products too btw! everything worked great! but i think one of my caliper mounts is bent from driving on blown wheels bearings til the hub bout fell off and the only thing keepin it on was the caliper:whistle: even the stub axle broke. had to grind alot of the knuckle on one side to get the caliper on. but other side went on wiht out a problem.:pimp: whats the ideal caster angle? with out being to far down?
