I was afraid of taking my whole axel apart to replace it.
I need to get my truck aligned so I will have a shop replace it because I have replaced gears and I don't feel like digging into my axel like this again. Too much of a pain.
YOu can change it with just taking the yoke off and pulling the seal out, but I wouldnt reccomed it, you most likely wont get the preload right. Just take it to a shop in the area, they shouldnt charge more then a hours labor and the seal.
