Hey I was wondering if there is a place I can buy after market speakers for studio speakers. I will take a pic of the boxes later and post it up. All but 1 out of 4, 12" subs are blown, or too old. Is there a place to buy new ones that aren't car audio, using the same box, not buying a whole new speaker. Thanks /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

where I live they only have 8" and cannot handle very much power.anywhere else? Or should I just use car speakers?

[/ QUOTE ]What ohms are the old speakers ??? As long as the ohms correct, you should be okay.

Im not sure on the ohms, but I will check when I take pictures. So it should be okay to use the car speakers, as long as the ohms is the same? Thanks

[/ QUOTE ] Shouldn't make a difference as long as the Ohms are correct.

Here are some pics of the boxes that the speakers will be going in. I just realized I forgot to check the ohms, so I'll do that later....

There old, and neat a little TLC but they were a good deal. 30 bucks per speaker at a thrift store /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif
