OK, I think I finally got a good pattern. The new gear compound im using doesnt show as nicely as the yellow, but you can see the pattern is probably as centered as it will get. Does anyone else agree?

Yeah like most said, keep working on it. Its not a pattern I would let go at work. What brand of gearset are you using? Just adjust the pinion depth a little and see how it looks, dont change the backlash, when you take shim out, it might open up a little, but still be ok. A little time spent in this step will be worth it down the road.

Looks good. I'd be happy with that one and run it. Should hold up very well.
