In the first pic the patter looks close to the inside and in the second one its close to the outside.
looks like the pattern needs to be moved a bit to the middle. dont forget baby steps. few thow is a lot. 
Pm readymix he can help.. but like everyone said I think you need to move more towards the center 1st one is two shallow, 2nd one is too deep. Did you reuse your bearings and crush sleeve, or did you get a new one?

It looks to me like your pinion depth is too shallow and your backlash is too large. How much backlash do you have at this setting? Did you set your pinion depth when you installed it?

You probably need about .010 less shim on the pinion and more backlash. Start by removing a shim from the pinion...then reset the BL to .006 -> .010

I could not see the other pics as I was at work. I get home and was wondering what was wrong with the pattern . I did not know he changed the pics out for the adjusted set. The ones up there look about where mine were on my 14FF when I put it together I say run it .
