PLEASE HELP! FAST! Caution: kind of a long post

sorry it took so long to get back

will check the coolant temp sensor next.

got less than an inch of snow

Thanks for the help guys
to me it still sounds like a lot of ignition modules ive seen go bad...that would be the next thing on my list without a doubt.

ok then, ignition module will be the next step. We did change the rotor.

Thanks,

Jason

I'll admit, I skipped the middle pages of all this (anticipating drama after that Kansas guy's post), so maybe you troubleshot something and found your problem...

but it sure sounds to me like you got bad gas. If you got a tankful of the bad stuff, it would take more than one filter change and some Heet to fix the problem.

Your problem started immediately after you filled it with gas, and the symptoms are consistent with water in the gas or ancient gas.

Take that module off and have it tested, and have it tested 5+times in a row to get it warmed up. I have seen many of them fail only on the 4th or 5th time and work great the 1st couple of times.
