Please post pics of homebrew shackle flips.

Since the gallery has been cleaned out I can't find any pics for ideas. I want to do a homebrew rear shackle flip. I want it to be easy, quick, cheap, and safe. Will the front mounts for rear springs work? I would be ok with cutting out the bottom of the factory shackle mount if there is a good way to brace it up a bit. Post up your pics, thanks.

i cut the bottom of my hanger out in my old truck. it held up fine, then i junked the truck and kept the front hangers so i can use them on my new truck i can get a picture later

How far back did you move your shackle??

Simple and effictive. This is a front hanger from a 3/4 ton.

57's not sure how far back, I clamped them down and got the shackle angle I wanted marked and drilled.

so you clamped them down with the weight on the truck?? Must have some good clamps

Thanks everyone. I think I will go with this style. I have some from a 2 wd, they aren't as long but I think it will work out ok.

3 C clamps, set the weight of truck on then lifted back up, no prob.
