I ran across these last night on eBay and couldn't help but laugh at the price these were at for what they are. Yes, I know people are looking for these, including me but this seems a little ridiculous.

I thought I noticed a thread on here, not too long ago, about someone trying to reproduce the internal door supports. Anyone know if that ever happened? I would be interested.

For the "use" on them, it seemed a little high to me. I've been watching NOS parts and most of them are a little high but they are actually new in box and aren't torn up.

Definitely not cheap but worth it for OE stuff, if I was going to cut my doors I'd seriously consider them. Especially those metal brackets, you cannot buy those anywhere.

I used a air of those when I chopped my 81 many years ago. Complete junk, I wouldn't run another set if they paid me $27...

I got a set of those before I got the originals. Those are made from plastic, where the originals are fiberglass.

Will do. I did search tempest and all kinds of looking for originals, I was a bit surprised they are reproduced honestly

The result of this thread is that I just spent $69 bucks on some rusty bent pieces of sheet metal. They will be sent over to @Deuling before I install them on my truck, he should be able to get the price down!
