~8 MPG w/ 402BBC.
4.56 gears, 33" tires, NV4500 w/OD

8 mpg with 454, no OD, 4.10. I can sometimes get it a little better if I lean out the metering rods in the carb but then it runs like crap.

the best ive ever gotten was 8.3mpg out of pure luck with a 454, 4.56 gears, 33"s, and sm465, i noramlly get a solid 7.

I get around 13mpg on my rig with 350 TBI, 700r4, 4.10s and 33" tires....I'll get less when I go 3/4 tons and 37"s...

My sub has been all over the Niagara Region, and the fuel gage only drops when I am cruising the neighbourhood.

But the thing is... It's been on the back of a flat bed everytime it's had to go further then a 200 ft. radius from my estate. hahaha.

7-9 mpg depending on where I went and how fast I got there. Also I expect my mpg to come up slightly in the summer time because there's no more warm up time lost.

I've got a 305 w/ a Holley and SM465 with 4.10s and 35"s

I think on the highway I average more like 5 mpg because of no OD spinning at 3000rpm.

as soon as i finished breaking in my new engine, i started wheeling it, so i can't give accurate all-pavement numbers. break-in mileage usually sucks. but, i did one tank that was about 200 miles pavement and 40 offroad. ended up at 11. can't complain about that considering how much idling, throttle stomping, mudding, etc. i did. i estimate a full pavement tank would get me around 12-15

14-15 in town, 20+ on the highway. Best to date was 23mpg cruising at 71mph.

14.5 mpg on flat highway. running 65-70mph 2200rpm, 4:10gears and 32"

Once I hit the mountain passes, you can literally see my gas gauge move. In the city its not bad but never measured it.

3-5 MPG -- 355 s.b, TH350, 38.5" near 20" of lift--Truck is like moving a brick wall through water...Not meant for road!

City through rush hour every day...17 mpg
Freeway at a steady 65-70...25+ mpg

'83 C1500, 6.2/700R-4/3.42's and 235-75-R15's.

My '81 Jimmy in town gets 15 mpg, on the freeway it gets 20 mpg.
6.2/NV4500/203/205, 4.56's and 39.5 TSL's.

I get about 6-8mpg in my blazer, all highway (right now at least).

'71 K5 454/400/205, 33" buckshot mudders and no idea on gearing

Mine varies between 11.5-13 with the current setup. 350 with mild cam and TBI, 465, 208, 14bff, d60, 456's, and 38.5 Tires.

This is with normal on road driving. In the mud it's much worse.

I get 10-11. City, highway, doesn't matter. TBI350/4L60/4.56's/33's.

It's a good thing work is only 5 miles away...
