My last road trip (day long) I filled up my stock 21 gal tank and by the time I got to 116 miles of driving I was nervous enought to have to fill up again. So about 6-8 mpg. OUCH!!!

The range on my C1500 is just a tick over 1000 miles (if it was all highway)...although that is using both tanks down to near empty. :D

Rene, thanks for making feel like dog meat. :D Yeah, lucky for me this is just a weekend driver. I usually only burn about $25 week in fuel though. No matter the mileage it is worth every dollar I spend in fuel for all the thumbs-up I get around town.:waytogo:

my speedometer isnt hooked up, but even with the engine off rolling downhill i would estimate 1.3 mpg

i havent even tried to figure mine yet(kinda scared to actually know) but with new 33's, 3.08 gears, and a brand new engine im gonna guesstimate around 10-13 mpg

drove it about 75 miles round trip on a hair over an 1/8th of a tank so im not really too sure but i do know filling a 31 gallon tank at $2.90 a gallon sux arse big time

I was getting 10-12 with my last 350. Hopefully in a couple months I will get to drive it with the new 383 and see what kind of mileage I get.

I run that combo and get about the same, I can squeeze 14-15 if I drive 60 or less on the highway but that's about it.

I get around 13mpg on my rig with 350 TBI, 700r4, 4.10s and 33" tires....I'll get less when I go 3/4 tons and 37"s...

Are the 4.10s worth it? better mileage? I`m running the same combo except with 3.73s...

7mpg's. 350/700/4.10/ 39.5's.

I get 20+, sometimes 18, sometimes 21, depending how I drive it.But I'm refering to my '86 C10 w 4.3l V6.

79 k5 454 14ff d60 40" swampers 9" lift got about 7 mpg when I first put in the 454 but now after some serious tweaking I can sweak out 14 with wind at my back.

15 on the highway, if I keep it around 70. 88 3/4 burb, 6.5 with banks turbo, 4.10 gears, th400 and np208, 37" mtrs.

I get more than 20. My DD is an '89 New Yorker. :D

bad thats all Im gonna say.:(

today I got an offer, straight trade for a newer jeep tj with dana 44s, 6inch lift and 35s for my bone stock chevy. I looked at him and laughed. said sorry man but Id rather have a chevy.

Id like to by a motorcycle to dd when the weather is nice. I refuse to get rid of my fullsize and cant bring myself to buy a little truck or car but a bike would be pretty darn cool.

i get 18ish on the hwy at 63mph... probly 14-15 in town...

its not bad really, my old 76 w/ a 400 sbc got like 1.3333mpg i swear!

oh and yea $3.18... try 3.45

but diesel is at 2.90 so ha

I get 20+ in my K5. Its easy. You fire it up drive it on the trail & shut it off. Drag it to and from the trails and you can get some sick mileage. :haha:

I have gotten 12 MPG in the K5 when it was actually street driven. My average with 35 & 37" tires, 350 TPI, 700R4, 4.56's was 10.

When it was stockish I could get 13 sometimes with 32's and 3.73's.
