So the point of this thread is to see opinions on what route I should go on my '76 K10 SWB.

I think 35s and 4” of lift. I had to cut mine to fit the 37s on 5” of lift

If you’re dedicated to doing body work, you can pull the lip back to the inner fender well on there front and keep the body lines and lip intact.

I had 4, 2" tuff country springs on my previous 77 k20 burb with 33" 12.5. My Dad commented at how smooth the truck drove out to his fishing hole down a back road. The wife was able to monster truck and total a Honda Accord hiding in her blind spot. Only had to armor all right tire to repair.

33's with little to no lift looks good too. If it's not going to see much dirt or flex, the trimming would be minimal.

Whats the goal for the truck?
This will mainly be a daily driver type truck. Alternate between the other trucks during the week. But it's not a street queen. It will see the occasional offroad adventure. If things are planned to get to heavy offroad, the K5 would take the duty then.

I want a little height over the tires. Not 17 chrome rollbars height, but I want to clear the tires. My old 33’s rubbed the corners of my fenders on my K5, and I want to avoid that. I would probably go with a zero rate first, then see how they fit. Then new poly bushing next.

Tough call between 2" and 4" for a dd

Kinda depends on trading off the small height gain vs your tolerance for the higher step in height

Fake news hippie. Wheel wells are for filling with tire, not for painting and leaving exposed.
This was my truck when I very first finished it in 2000. It has a 4 inch kit and 3 body.
Granted the 3 inch body was there because I was planning on. Bigger tires someday. But I started with 33, as they came to me.
Do you think it look totally out of place? You can be honest. I don't. I do think 35 would be perfect.
Also the 3 inch body lift kit was given to me. So I used it. If I where to do it again I would use 1 or 2 inch body kit.
Not trying to make a huge discussion about body kits. I know everyone thinks they are basically Vicki Vallencourt around here.
