Almost ready to drop the 6.2 into my K5 and have a spare set of poly engine mounts. Think they will hold up with the 6.2?

I don't see that it could hurt. PPl use them with big blocks. I think they will hold up better than stock rubber mounts :D

They will hold up fine. Only problem I see is more vibration will be transfered from the motor to the frame rather than being absorbed by the rubber mount.

I was sitting in the driveway idling the other day and watched a screw vibrate right out of the dash.

I have rubber mounts too.

I don't think I would want to do anything to transfer more vibration through my Blazer than it currently does. To me it's worth it to change a worn out rubber mount every now and then.

YMMV

dern, thats bad, mine never ran that rough. You might wanna try looking at your harmonic balancer, might be gone :(

I recently replaced the stock rubber engine mounts with poly's........honestly can't say there is any noticable difference in engine vibration.

I only notice a difference at idle. But i have no interior or carpet in my truck to stop vibrations.
