Poly engine mounts?

Almost ready to drop the 6.2 into my K5 and have a spare set of poly engine mounts. Think they will hold up with the 6.2?

I put them in mine with the poly trans mount, have not drove it yet thou.

I don't see that it could hurt. PPl use them with big blocks. I think they will hold up better than stock rubber mounts

They will hold up fine. Only problem I see is more vibration will be transfered from the motor to the frame rather than being absorbed by the rubber mount.

kenny hit the nail on the head. they hold up just fine, you just feel more vibrations.

I welded my shells together and they are holding up fine.

I was sitting in the driveway idling the other day and watched a screw vibrate right out of the dash.

I have rubber mounts too.

I don't think I would want to do anything to transfer more vibration through my Blazer than it currently does. To me it's worth it to change a worn out rubber mount every now and then.

dern, thats bad, mine never ran that rough. You might wanna try looking at your harmonic balancer, might be gone

I recently replaced the stock rubber engine mounts with poly's........honestly can't say there is any noticable difference in engine vibration.

I only notice a difference at idle. But i have no interior or carpet in my truck to stop vibrations.
