For the topical rust on my bedrails, what color POR-15 should I get? Black, Clear or Gray? Or does it matter...or does anybody have a better suggestion?

Sand it down to bare metal and spray with zinc chromate primer...
I am not sure yet, but I believe it will be pitted a little...not sure yet how much metal (rust) I have to take off...its on the inside of the rails near where the top bolts on.
Can we even get zinc chromate primer in California? Chief Brodie may be able get some, but for us on the leftest coast, we have few options.
i will find out in a coupe days. Found out there is a west marine down the way from my place and im gonna see if i can get a few cans.
