I got a C20 from 1983 with the original 454 Carburated that has been giving me problems. Which i been wanting to go Fuel Injection besides that. I'm not much into Carburators.

I had found a 1995 Tbi 454 for a not-bad deal, almost close to me. And was wondering how it would be to swap in the 1995 Tbi 454 in the 83' C20?

Also, the C20 has a Turbo 400 3 Speed Auto. 32 inch tires and 3:73 gears. Plus I'm not racing and all, just want to keep it stock. Although I do have long headers and straight dual pipes.

Easiest way is to bring the harness with the TBI, along with the fuel lines and tanks since they’re in-tank pump

Computer needs a signal off the transmission for a speed sensor also
Sure you don’t want the 4L80e also?

No lol. Don't need the 4l80. I ain't trying to go over 100mph anyways.

As long as I'm doin' 70 at a low or almost low rpm, I'm not-bad to go.

Plus like a mentioned earlier, the 454 itself is giving me problems which, since i want to go fuel injection anyways , i thought that i might as well get the 1995 454 that already comes with fuel injection. At a decent price which that 454 Tbi is close by me

Well, you either need to adapt to use a VSS, reprogram the ecu to not use it, or install the 4L80

Has nothing to do with top speed
