This baby keeps some spare socks, MRE's, matches, mag lite, toilet paper and a first aid kit dry and secure. I bolted that down about 2 years ago.

You have a pillar gauges on ur Chevy?

No, I have them in my Ford and love them. I added trans temp and a vac gauge. Wish I would've gone with the mount for 3 gauges, but that would be a little more customizing, as its not made for my bodystyle.

That through the radiator trans cooler mount is THE WORST thing you could ever do to a radiator.

cool thread, i need to get some custom bumpers so i can add some pics. heh

Curious as to what youre talking about and to whom??

he's talking to Adam...

and he's refering to the zip tie mounting having a tendency to saw thru radiator tubes... not gauranteed to fail, but it has happened...

those seats are wicked, i wish i could find a list of all the seats that would bolt in on these things without mods. keep the pics coming fellas!

ryoken nailed it down for you. The zip tie mounting becomes loose and then saws right through the tubes leaving you with a leak and on a aluminum radiator like the one posted those aren't cheap. Also IMO the tube and fin style trans cooler is a waste of money, the best cooler is a stacked plate cooler.

First, i posted it for a pic of the radiator. I never ran that cooler and took it off when i put the radiator in and ran the internal cooler. I bought the biggest stack plate style one i could find and installed it when i put my new tranny in. Second... You are correct on the zip tie mounts. When my tranny line wrapped around my front driveshaft, it twisted the cooler and my nice radiator now has some nice holes in it :(. It will be hard mounted to the core support when i get the rad fixed :waytogo:
