Post pics of your interior!

Built dash myself, used all autometer gauges, various sizes of PVC pipe for angle rings to point gauges up and a new wiring harness that connects to the stock one via terminal strips. Everything was soldered, heat strinked and color coded for later troubleshooting if needed. Do this for a living, so it came naturally. Been complete almost 4 years now and not a problem. Only thing I would do different is use a smaller high beam lamp, as I must use a 24v bulb to keep it dimm enough at night so as not to be too bright.

Ooooops.....oh, yeah!

The stereo was a casualty of the rollcage/rust discovery/rust repair project. I decided to pull it all out so that I could completely clean and prep all the interior metal, do my repairs, and cage install....THEN put it all back in.

It shouldn't take 200 hours next time around.....I have all the wiring harnesses labelled, so it's just a matter of laying it all back in and flipping the switch!!! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Thats an awesome gage setup! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif what did you use for the paneling that you mounted the gages to? plastic? fiberglass? where did you get it?

From the looks of it, its a MSD timing controller. With an MSD box you can buy the module to adjust your timing in-cab. Up to 15* I believe.

John

It controls the MSD remote timing module. Allows me a max of 15* to advance or retard my timing from inside the cab. I set the timing control knob at 7 degrees, set my engine timing at about 8 degrees and now I have an adjustable timing from 15 BTDC to 1 degrees BTDC. Great for towing, a change in fuel octane levels (common when traveling) elevations and temperatures.

Grim, I have a roll of duck brand duct tape also, about three inches to the left of where yours is. It sticks to the vinyl and makes a great cupholder. Nothing has ever spilled from it.

The only interior pictures I have are of the center console I built to hold my CD player.
