Post up your BB15 build progress

I spent 2 hours working on the Jimmy. 1.5 hours of that was trying to beat a rusted bolt out of the cantilever steering arm. Cut the head off. 4 pound sledge was a no go. Took all of the steering arms off the get the cantilever arm off. 20 ton press would not budge the bolt. Try something else tomorrow.

:D glad to hear the Jimmy is a go! Can't wait to snap a pic of our trucks together.

Sorry to hear about that, not sure how to help lol.

Only time I have to do that is if it is cross threaded.

To add to it, I took my truck apart with hand tools.:haha:

got her back on the road today, installing front springs and welding on the front bumper tomorrow, having a/c lines made this week, then flushing and charging the system. while i'm at it, building a winch cradle and painting the bumpers.

Got the front end patched back together. More gussets to keep the frame from moving. Has a new clunk in the steering when the wheel is rocked side ro side. Need someone in the seat so I can listen under the truck.

Ordered poly engine and trans mounts. Trans is sheared and the captured engine mounts are destroyed. So bad the fan ticks on the bottom of the fan shroud. Trying to get it together for a may 3rd run.

new springs have added a few things to the list. driveline needs work, pitman arm needs to go and might have to do something with the shocks.

You finally doing something with those housings I gave you?

i got a quick little test run in on Daisy, figured out a couple things that need to change before moab. the front shock mounts need to change, the transmission cooler is getting replaced and the exhaust needs to be rerouted a little.

the lower shock mounts are getting redone tomorrow, i built new ones.

the front driveline is getting a little too cozy with the exhaust so i've got to re route the passenger side pipe around the front of the oil pan.
