Started to do the crossover steering and found... a broken frame!! I put the ORD steering box brace in, but it still broke. Running out of time and money, better I found it now then at Moab
Got this done yesterday.
Still need to add the latch and a few things. I also got the sending unit swapped out so my fuel gauge works again.

Hell ya looks sharp man.
Finally pulled the tarps off the buggy, cleaned up the battery tray and painted it, installed the battery and fired it up. Spent some time making a short list of things to do before I leave.
Not much more than that, my list is maybe one good day of work so I hope to be putting it on the trailer on Labor day.
Which means I'll be late getting to Moab in time for the night run cause that ain't happening.

Changed the oil in the Malibu. Made sure I have enough Advil.

Bought a bunch of spare parts, hubs, axle shaft, ignition module, OIL FILTER, and on and on. Why is my debit card smoking???
Mounted two fire extinguishers, Took off worn out full soft top and put on new Bimini Top, but I might go topless for the drive out. Highway speed is pretty rough on the Bimini Tops, Plus I gotta work on the tan.
Wifey told me last night, there is a good amount of extra money in the account we use for online and vacation purchases. I think I will leave it in there since you are going to Moab, I laughed and said it will be gone before I am.

Check front wheel bearings
mount new aluminum floor jack inside somewhere
Install terrible fitting though really expensive Griffin radiator
Install tranny cooler and switches for both radiators' fans

Lay offs , missing people so we are short handed and no one to cover . I will just wheel here

I've got to get her to the AC shop to be leak checked, vacuumed and charged. Then load everything up!!! This time next week I'll be sailing down the highway on the way to Moab!!!

Damn. The AC shop can't get me in til Tuesday. Not exactly what I wanted but it'll have to do. That leaves me the rest of the week to go ahead and wire up some lights and get a few little thing a done.
