Well unless a miracle happens I wont be there this year. Had to pull the heads tonight. Went to put the new rockers on tonight and the pushrods are binding on the bottom of the slots. I thought it was just the 1.6 rockers, so I put 1.5's on and they are binding too.Must be the reason the old rockers are so f-ed up.
I will be dremmeling out the slots in the morning and attempting to get running tomorrow.

Found out I bent the frame horns are bent....... headers are hitting the crossmember. Dented the crap outta the front tube. Gotta figure out how to bend the frame back and brace it up so the crossmember can go back in. All this and only 2 days off until I'm sopposed to leave.

Tonight is a beer fueled pitty party tomorrow morning its on. Sorry for the rant I'm just having a bad day.....

Dammit, sorry to hear that Chris. Keep it up. I'm struggling with this damn radiator but luckily there isn't much that the truck needs. Check the bolts and load up. Still be cramming this weekend. Do you have Monday off? Need a extra hand? Or even an extra set of rockers?

The rear bumper is finished for now. I'll eventually build mounts for propane tanks, and gas cans for the passenger side arm.

Yep got monday off. My best friend is helping me tommorrow and monday to try and get her back together. I'm really hoping to get her done. I need this vacation.

Well, if it doesn't work out there is a seat open going up Tuesday and heading back Monday. Tent it or crash at the cabin, I'm 200% positive your snoring isn't as bad as my friends. (and he stops breathing 300 times a night) O.o

Well glad I pulled the heads, one exhaust valve was starting to burn. It's pitted enough that it wont lap out. Looking for some heads now, no time to have these done.

Some good news, my head guy is doing the heads right now. He says he'll be done with them this afternoon.
I guess the seats are all ok, just need minor surfacing. 5 of the exhaust valves are pitted and not sealing. Guess I know why power has been so low.
May make it yet.

between the Griffin "direct fit" radiator and the tranny cooler not fitting, plus things going wrong or breaking, almost all of that are for new things or returns lol
