first, anyone know how to post a picture, and with what level of member status???

then, i need help on ID for a gear reduction box, mounted with a np205 from a 70's blazer. 2.0:1.

i'd post a picture, but, well you get the idea...

You need 15 posts or so to post pictures.

You say you need ID on a gear reduction box, describe the box or the piece that mates the two together.

Or wait until you have enough posts to show us what you mean (I think you can still link from other sites).

thanks...

looks like a muncie 3 speed tranny, with and extension , then the gear reduction box, then the np203.

i would like to change the spline count on the GRB to 16.

so, knowing what it is would help.

have not seen pictures of it here, so no referals.

guess i just have to type it out...

An actual 3 speed or a 3 speed with a granny gear (4 forward gears)?

Is the transfer case (not the reduction box) a NP203 or NP205?

What do you need 16 spline for?

I have an ...

FJ40. I picked up the tranny/grb/transfer, because, i want to double down the FJ40.

I off road, a few times a year, and i need a better crawl ratio than the h42 tranny with the transfer case gives.

so, am trying to add the GRB for 2.0:1.

I have for parts, the Muncie tranny(looks 3 speed) and then an adapter, and then the GRB(gear reduction box, steel casting) and then the np203.

it is all disassembled, and now i am trying to get matching spline counts for the FJ40 tranny to transfer.
