Anyone have any experience in getting an airtank filled with co2 in the Southern Californis area? Ive tried the welding supply shops with no luck. Conejo Off Road has no Idea either. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :D

Let your fingers do the walking through the yellow pages, and look for fire extinguisher shops. There has to be some in your area. They will be able to fill your tank.

If you have an "air" tank I dont think you will find anyone in California (North Central or South) that will put anything other than air in it. If you are looking to put CO2 in it you need a CO2 cylinder I think they are Grey which really all inert gas cylinders are grey. Thing is an Air tank is not designed to handle the pressure of CO2 atleast not the amount we wheelers use.

I am not in SoCal but i get mine filled at a fire extinguisher place. $16 to fill my 20Lb tank. It is a little cheaper at the welding shop, but they only do exchange and i like my bottle more than the one they tried to give me.

If you do indeed have a CO2 tank then look for a place called West-Air or any welding supply shop. West-Air has Liquid Oxygen I am almost certain they will fill a Power tank.

paintball shops around here and sometimes praxair have co2 cylinders to fill your powertank. Paintball shops charge more than it is worth though.
