So previously my power windows on both doors were working, recently i had a short and would keep popping the curcuit braker as soon as power was turned on. I found the short and fixed it but now both windows will not move up or down. I have power through the main wire and power coming off the drivers door switch for the 4 motor wires (2 for driver side and 2 for passenger side) and the ground seems solid as the fuse is no longer popping as well as when tested with a multimeter doesnt show its coming into contact with power. So whats the best shot at fixing the issue?

Does the passenger side switch operate the window?
Where was the short located? If it was after the switch then you may have had so much current (temporarily) going through it that it may have burned it up. When you engage the switch and test it with a meter there may be enough of a contact that it will read 12V but not allow enough current to pass through it to power the motor.
Try measuring the resistance on the motors at the motor connector, forget exactly how many ohms the windings will read but just make sure it's something over a few ohms.
My guess is that it'll end up being the driver side switch.

The short was at the dash switch for the tailgate window (power wire got a little loose and was hitting metal part of dash) i actually got a brand new switch for the drivers door and happend to have a brand new switch for the passenger side laying around and put those on before i tried the windows after fixing the short. I also tested for power where it runs into the motor and there is for sure power to the motor, i also happend to have an extra motor (its brand new so i know it works) that i used to test and see if the motor was bad, but the extra motor would not spin ether

Also forgot to say nether the passenger or driver switch does anything (not sure about the switch for the rear as that window never worked any ways
