Pre-BB22 Overland-ish 2-3 day run, who's interested?

I have to work, Tuesday and Wednesday, of that week
We will be going to Moab Wednesday night.

Just touching base as an update, we are leaving Sunday and should be in Moab area Tuesday night, is anyone planning anything for Wednesday in Moab? If not we may either stay in Colorado Tuesday night and drive into Moab Wednesday and do some sightseeing or we can plan to get into Moab Tuesday night….just kind of a feeler so we know where to stay on what nights.

I’ll be in Monday by afternoon to the area. My plan was hit the gate at Canyonlands first thing Tuesday morning and see if I luck out for a campsite on the White Rim trail. If that don’t pan out I plan on doing Lockhart basin as an alternative.

I believe that I took Tuesday off.. :dunno:
I have to wait for
@Bent77 to haul himself over here Wednesday, so that I can make sure that he makes it to Moab. :haha:

I can't tell you for sure that I will have my truck all ready to go on a trail in the San Juan mountains on Tuesday, if you were thinking about it.

I gotta get my stuff done and checked over!

You all could take the scenic route over from Gateway.

Who all is traveling through CO? When and where? I'm in Grand Junction and would love to jump in on a caravan I have the couple days off before and am trying to plan on when to head over and which direction to go.

I will be in CO on Tuesday the 6th, I’m planning to visit ORD and spend the night in Glenwood Springs/parachute area, and head into Moab Wednesday afternoon or early Thursday Morning

Yepp, planning to stay in glenwood springs then head down to rifle for a visit and then on to Moab from there

Truck is ready. Most of it is packed. Need to load food/drinks into the fridge. Taking off in the morning.

My buddy with the red power wagon is meeting us Monday night. Looks like chances are good white rim is open. The monsoon has washed out a couple of spots but not bad enough to close it. The NPS has upped the requirement from basic 4x4 trucks to those with experienced drives only and may require spotters through tough spots.

Campsites are available on the trail. Plan is to spend one night at white crack campsite and come back to town. We may camp the next night at the overlook near chicken corners or on Lockhart.
