thats what a stock sbc uses from the factory, so yes it'll work
Almost all SBC engines use press pistons if not all. If you are talking about using a piston that is cut for retaining clips but using a pressed pin that is ok but WHATEVER you do, do not use the clips unless the rods are machined for floating pins or the pins could come out and ruin an engine in minutes.
