Seatbelts, yeah, yeah.
Try driving one without seats sometime. Or body, or brakes, with a string to pull to make it speed up.........
I'm a little schizo about seat belts. I never put them on when I'm in the woods in my truck.
Even if driving fairly fast.
Too many times I have wanted to jump out with my gun and I don't have time to unlock a belt.
BUT, I will not drive or ride in a vehicle with airbags unless I am belted. ( My truck predates airbags).
Airbags worry me. A local dentist's wife got in her car in a local grocery store parking lot couple of years back.
Backed out, put it in drive and ran right into the concrete base of a light pole. Didn't hit it much faster than walking speed.
The people who saw her, laughed, and a couple started over to make sure she was ok.
She wasn't.
Dead of a broken neck and blunt force trauma to side of the face. Apparently she met the airbag coming out with her head.
They think she was looking off to the side, did not see the post, and did not brace. The side of her head was probably about a couple of inches from the bag when it fired and she was a fairly small woman.
I'm a lot bigger and tougher than she was, but if more than a shotgun shell's worth of explosive is going to go off in my face, I want to be as far back from it as I can.

Although yours looks worse for wear. Same deal though, walked away with a couple scratches. Seat belt saved my ass. Even with it on I went 1/3 of the way out the window.
. I miss that thing a lot - RIP Taco Supreme.
